Bulletproof Car Rental in Lahore — B6+ Armored Vehicles with Security Driver

Royal Motors Rent a Car Lahore rents three B6+ armored vehicles — a Toyota Land Cruiser V8, a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Hilux Revo — from PKR 60,000 per day within Lahore, each supplied with an ex-military security driver. Rates run to PKR 80,000 per day for the Land Cruiser, and outstation travel anywhere in Pakistan is priced separately. A licensed armed guard can be added for PKR 10,000 per day.

All three vehicles were armored by Armored Vehicles Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd in Karachi — formerly Streit Pakistan, and the largest privately owned armoring company in the country. We are not a broker. These are our own vehicles, maintained by us and driven by our own people.

What the rate includes — and what it doesn’t

We publish these terms because most armored rental enquiries stall on exactly this question, and almost nobody in this market answers it in writing.

Included in the daily rate

  • The armored vehicle itself, B6+ protection
  • An ex-military security driver
  • Up to 10 duty hours per day
  • Standard maintenance, insurance and vehicle preparation

Billed separately

  • Fuel — charged on actual usage
  • Motorway tolls and parking
  • Driver overnight stay on outstation trips — PKR 2,000 per night
  • Armed guard overnight stay, if booked — PKR 2,000 per night
  • Duty hours beyond ten in a day

Overtime rates, the security deposit and cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of booking, because they vary with the vehicle, the duration and the nature of the movement. Ask when you call and we will put them in writing before you commit.

Armored Toyota Land Cruiser V8

PKR 80,000 / day in Lahore · PKR 100,000 / day outstation · 7 passengers + driver

Bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser V8 for rent in Lahore with security driver

The Land Cruiser V8 is the vehicle most diplomatic missions ask for by name, and it is the one we deploy for embassy movement, visiting delegations and senior government travel. The reasons are practical rather than symbolic: it carries the weight of a full B6+ conversion without feeling strained, it has the range for long intercity runs, and the interior stays comfortable over the kind of six and eight hour journeys that Pakistani road travel actually involves.

Fitted with armored glass, run-flat tires and reinforced suspension to carry the additional weight.

Armored Toyota Fortuner

PKR 70,000 / day in Lahore · PKR 80,000 / day outstation · 7 passengers + driver

Bulletproof Toyota Fortuner available for rent in Lahore at Royal Motors

The armored Toyota Fortuner is the sensible middle of our armored fleet and the one most corporate clients settle on. It gives the same B6+ protection as the Land Cruiser and the same seating, at PKR 10,000 a day less, and it is easier to move through Lahore traffic and into tighter hotel and office forecourts. For airport transfers, executive movement and day-to-day corporate protection, it is usually the right answer.

Armored Toyota Hilux Revo

PKR 60,000 / day in Lahore · PKR 70,000 / day outstation · 4 passengers + driver

Bulletproof Toyota Hilux Revo for rent in Lahore with security driver

The Revo is our most affordable armored vehicle and the one built for work rather than presentation. Clients take it for site visits, project inspections and field operations, particularly where the route includes unmade roads or the destination is a working site rather than an office. The trade-off is capacity: four passengers, not seven.

What B6+ armor actually means

Almost every armored rental listing in Pakistan says “B6” or “B6+” and stops there. It is worth understanding what the number refers to, because it is the difference between a vehicle that will stop a rifle round and one that will not.

Where the B-numbers come from

The B-scale comes from European ballistic standards — principally CEN/EN 1063, which rates protective glazing from BR1 to BR7, and the German VPAM standards used for complete vehicles. The scale is cumulative: each level is tested against a more demanding threat than the one below it.

  • B4 — handgun protection, up to .44 Magnum
  • B5 — 5.56 × 45 mm rifle rounds
  • B6 — 7.62 × 51 mm NATO ball, the round fired by most battle rifles and general-purpose machine guns
  • B7 — 7.62 × 51 mm armor-piercing

What B6 is rated to stop

B6 is the level at which a vehicle stops being handgun-resistant and starts being rifle-resistant. It is tested against 7.62 × 51 mm NATO ball ammunition — the same class of round as a .308 hunting rifle — fired at the glass and the armored body panels. In practical terms, B6 is the threshold most governments, embassies and corporate security policies treat as the minimum for a protected vehicle, and it is the level at which armoring stops being cosmetic.

What “B6+” means, honestly

This is worth saying plainly, because nobody else in this market does. “B6+” is not a formal certification level. B6 and B7 are defined and testable; B6+ is an industry term meaning B6 protection with additional measures beyond the baseline — typically extra overlap at the joints and pillars, upgraded glass thickness, or protection against rounds that sit between B6 and B7.

When we say our vehicles are B6+, we mean they are built to B6 protection with those additional measures. If your security policy requires a certified protection level rather than a described one, tell us at enquiry stage and we will tell you honestly what documentation we can provide rather than let you find out later.

What armoring does to a vehicle

A full B6+ conversion adds substantial weight — armored steel in the body, layered ballistic glass in every window, and reinforced suspension, brakes and run-flat tires to carry it. That has consequences you should plan around:

  • Fuel consumption rises significantly. Since fuel is billed on actual usage, budget more than you would for a standard vehicle of the same model.
  • The windows do not open on most armored conversions. Air conditioning matters more than usual.
  • Acceleration and braking are slower. This is one reason we do not offer armored vehicles for self-drive.
  • The vehicle looks close to standard. This is deliberate; a protected vehicle that announces itself defeats part of its own purpose.

Do you actually need an armored vehicle?

Not every client who asks for one needs one, and we would rather say so than take a booking that does not serve you.

An armored vehicle is warranted when the risk is targeted — when someone specifically might have reason to act against the passenger. That covers diplomatic and consular movement, senior government travel, executives in disputes or sensitive negotiations, visiting delegations whose itinerary is publicly known, and movement into areas where a specific credible concern exists.

It is usually not warranted for general travel anxiety, for a visitor who is simply unfamiliar with Pakistan, or for prestige. In those cases an experienced driver in a good standard vehicle, sensible route planning and ordinary discretion will serve you better — and cost a tenth as much. We rent those too, and we will point you at them if that is the honest answer.

If you are unsure, describe the movement when you call. We have run enough of these to tell you which category you are in.

Who armors our vehicles

Our armored fleet was converted by Armored Vehicles Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd, based at Port Qasim Industrial Zone in Karachi. The company was formerly Streit Pakistan, established as a joint venture with the Streit Group, and describes itself as the largest privately owned armoring company in Pakistan.

Their published accreditations include ISO 9001:2015 for quality management, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management and OHSAS 18001:2007 for occupational health and safety. Armoring materials are certified by the Inspectorate of Armament, GHQ Rawalpindi.

We name our armorer because you should be able to check it. A protected vehicle is only as good as the conversion behind it, and “B6+” from a company that will not tell you who did the work is worth considerably less than the same claim from one that will.

Security drivers and armed guards

Every armored rental includes a security driver, and our security drivers are ex-military. That is the single most important thing on this page after the protection level. An armored vehicle driven badly is a slower, heavier, more conspicuous version of an ordinary car.

Our drivers handle route planning, airport movements, executive and diplomatic transport, long-distance intercity travel, and the discretion that comes with all of it. Client identities, schedules and movement details are not discussed outside the assignment.

Armed guards

A licensed armed guard can be added to any booking for PKR 10,000 per day, plus PKR 2,000 per night on outstation trips.

We take responsibility for the whole package — the armored vehicle, the security driver and the guard. You do not need to source personnel, hold a licence, or arrange anything on your side. Tell us the movement and we handle the rest.

Who books armored vehicles from us

  • Diplomatic delegations, embassy staff and consular movement
  • Government officials and official visits
  • Foreign visitors and international delegations, including Chinese project staff
  • Corporate executives, board-level travel and sensitive business meetings
  • High-profile guests and their protection teams
  • Court appearances and other security-sensitive appointments

Airport transfers and travel outside Lahore

We run armored airport transfers to and from Allama Iqbal International Airport for executives, diplomatic guests and official delegations, with the vehicle and driver in position before the flight lands.

For travel beyond Lahore, the outstation daily rate applies — PKR 70,000 to PKR 100,000 per day depending on vehicle — plus fuel, tolls, and PKR 2,000 per night for the driver’s accommodation, and the same again for a guard if one is booked. We regularly run armored movements to Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Peshawar, and to other cities on request. For travel that does not require an armored vehicle, see our intercity car service.

How to book an armored vehicle in Lahore

There is no fixed minimum notice. Call or message us with the movement and we will confirm availability immediately — same-day is often possible, though the fleet is three vehicles and they do get committed, so earlier is always better.

  1. Tell us your dates and times
  2. Give us the pickup point and destination
  3. Choose the vehicle, or describe the movement and we will recommend one
  4. Tell us whether you want an armed guard
  5. We confirm availability, the full rate, and the terms in writing
  6. You confirm the booking

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to rent a bulletproof car in Lahore?

From PKR 60,000 per day for an armored Toyota Hilux Revo, PKR 70,000 for an armored Fortuner and PKR 80,000 for an armored Land Cruiser V8, all within Lahore and all including a security driver. Outstation rates run from PKR 70,000 to PKR 100,000 per day. Fuel and tolls are billed separately.

Which bulletproof vehicles do you have?

Three, all B6+ armored: a Toyota Land Cruiser V8, a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Hilux Revo double cab. We do not sub-hire from other operators, so what is listed here is what is genuinely available.

Is a security driver included?

Yes, and it is not optional. Every armored vehicle is supplied with an ex-military security driver. We do not offer armored vehicles for self-drive.

What does B6+ protection mean?

B6 is a ballistic protection level rated to stop 7.62 × 51 mm NATO ball ammunition — rifle rounds, not just handgun rounds. B6+ is an industry term for B6 protection with additional measures beyond the baseline. B6+ is not itself a formal certification level, and any company telling you otherwise is overstating it.

Who armored your vehicles?

Armored Vehicles Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd in Karachi, formerly Streit Pakistan. They hold ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007, and their armoring materials are certified by the Inspectorate of Armament, GHQ Rawalpindi.

Can I get an armed guard with the vehicle?

Yes. A licensed armed guard is PKR 10,000 per day, plus PKR 2,000 per night on outstation travel. We arrange the guard ourselves — you do not need to provide personnel, licensing or paperwork.

How far in advance do I need to book?

There is no fixed minimum notice and same-day bookings are often possible. Because the fleet is only three vehicles, availability is the real constraint rather than lead time, so call as early as you can.

What is included in the daily rate?

The armored vehicle, a security driver, and up to 10 duty hours per day. Fuel, motorway tolls and parking are billed separately, as is the driver’s overnight accommodation on outstation trips at PKR 2,000 per night.

Is fuel included?

No. Fuel is charged on actual usage. Bear in mind that a fully armored vehicle is considerably heavier than a standard one and consumes more fuel as a result, so budget above the figure you would expect for the same model unarmored.

Can armored vehicles travel outside Lahore?

Yes. We run armored movements across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat and Peshawar. Outstation travel is charged at the outstation daily rate plus fuel, tolls and PKR 2,000 per night for the driver’s stay.

Can foreign visitors and embassies book an armored vehicle?

Yes. Diplomatic missions, foreign delegations, international business travelers and visiting officials are a large share of what this fleet does. Tell us the nature of the movement at enquiry stage so we can match the vehicle and, where appropriate, recommend whether a guard is warranted.

Do you offer armored airport transfers?

Yes, to and from Allama Iqbal International Airport, with the vehicle in position before arrival. Airport movements are charged at the standard Lahore daily rate.

Do the windows open?

On most armored conversions, no. The glass is a thick laminate and the doors carry additional weight. It is worth knowing before a long summer journey.

What is the security deposit and cancellation policy?

Both are confirmed at the time of booking, along with the overtime rate. They vary with the vehicle, duration and nature of the movement. We put them in writing before you commit.

Check availability for your dates

Tell us the dates, the route and whether you want an armed guard, and we will confirm availability and a full written rate.
